Q: Why go on retreat? It offers personal peace, a break from hectic schedules and a time for reflections on what is important in life. The retreat focuses on fostering a deeper union with Jesus Christ and with His Body, the Church. You will come to a fuller relationship with our Lord and the community of St. Bernadette.
Q: What will I do at the retreat? The retreat will include: inspiring talks, small group discussions, prayer, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, Eucharistic Adoration, Mass, fellowship and so much more!
Q: Can I attend only one session or day of the retreat? Since each session builds from the previous session, we kindly ask that you attend for the entirety of the retreat in order to get the full experience.
Q: Why is the retreat an entire weekend? The retreat is an entire weekend because it takes a while to decompress from the hustle and bustle of regular life and calm our hearts and minds for this kind of encounter. There is no such thing as a “quick fix” in our relationship with Jesus. Also, an entire weekend is a sign of our commitment to Christ. He will not disappoint! “At the end, first session retreatants said they would gladly have stayed longer and didn’t want to leave!”
If interested or have questions, please call Bill Hart at 440-567-3677.
Thank you for signing-up for the Light of the World Retreat!
"It is not enough to say we are Christians. We must live the faith, not only with our words, but with our actions."
