Boy Scouts

Cub Scouts

Cub Scouts is open to all boys of the parish who attend the first through fifth grades. Cub Scouts do fun things with other kids! They get to wear a uniform, go places, and see things. They play all kinds of sports and build things like race cars and birdhouses. Boys are organized by grade. The program consists of regular den meetings, monthly pack meetings and various age-appropriate outings scheduled throughout the school year. This includes father and son activities, family camping, the Pinewood Derby home-built model car races and the Blue and Gold dinner.

Boy Scouts

Boy Scouts is an outdoor-based skill and adventure program available to all boys who are 11 through 17 years old. Boys meet weekly for most of the year. Boys are organized by rank. Scouts plan and run their own meetings and activities. Scouts participate in outdoor programs such as hiking, climbing, canoeing, long-distance cycling and primitive and winter camping, plus council and high-adventure programs for older qualified scouts. Adults provide a coaching and guidance role for leadership and skills. The program achieves the BSA’s objectives of developing character, citizenship and personal fitness through outdoor and leadership opportunities
